This online memorial was created in loving memory of our daughter Kristen Narcini. Kristen was a loving, caring and generous person throughout her life. She is loved and missed by all that knew her. From the time she was an infant, Kristen was clearly a very special person. She was extremely intelligent and had a contagious sense of humor. Her smile could light up a room.
She was a gifted artist who loved to draw and occasionally paint. Although she was barely five feet tall, she was unusually strong and had a reputation for standing up for her classmates and friends if they were being picked on. Her physical strength came in part from the rigorous work associated with caring for and training horses, most especially her beloved horse Reddy or Not (a.k.a. Red).
Kristen and Red were a team in many ways, spiritually and when competing in various horse events, especially show jumping. Kristen won many ribbons and trophies over a period of several years.
She was the ultimate non-conformist and moved easily through many circles. She could spend an entire evening nestled with a good book, or out raising hell with her friends. She was quite comfortable studying Algebra and Calculus, but was more interested in becoming a horse groom or auto mechanic. She was able to attend just about any college, but instead she decided to attend local colleges and work. She especially loved pumping gas at our local Exxon station. She thought it was cool to be a female gas station attendant and really enjoyed serving and getting to know the customers.
Kristen also loved music and her tastes again ran the gamut of genres. She was fluent in the Monkees, classic rock, techno, rap, heavy metal and gothic rock. She had a soft spot for German heavy metal and her favorite band was Rammstein.
She was a most unusual person, but most importantly, she had a heart of gold. She fiercely loved and was loyal to her family and friends. Always considerate of other's feelings, she could be counted on as a friend. For all her talents and gifts, her beautiful heart stands out as the most precious of all. She is so much loved and missed! Her memory is cherished and her spirit lives on in our hearts, where it will dwell forever - even after we are one day reunited. Until then, we remember her in our thoughts and prayers and honor her on special days throughout the year.
