Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong
We never realized how fortunate we were to have Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong in our area until after Taylor's birth. Strong has the only Level III nursery in the 13-county Finger Lakes region, which is the highest level of newborn care. Premature and other critical babies born in this region are cared for by the NICU. A specialized transport team and more than 150 doctors, nurses, technicians, respiratory therapists and social workers oversee the 52 bed unit. These staff members are devoted to caring for the most fragile and ill babies and their families.

We know, and want others to realize, just how lucky we are to have Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong. We will continue to support the hospital, especially the NICU. We are hopeful that you too will seek the opportunity to suppport the NICU. For more information on Golisano Children's Hospital or to make a donation, visit

Mommy & Mr. Tom Golisano
During the 2007 "Miracle Weekend," Mommy presented a "check" to the hospital for our fundraising efforts throughout the year. While leaving the Channel 10 Telethon, Mommy finally met Mr. Tom Golisano himself! It was quite an honor to meet the gentleman who gave 14 million dollars to the Children's Hospital just after Taylor died. He is an incredibly generous person and also a very nice man!

Thank You...
Thank you to Michael Gately and The Drive 100.5 for hosting the 2007 Radiothon to benefit GCHaS. Gately, along with Dave LeFrois and the rest of the crew, worked the Radiothon for 4 consecutive days. This great team was able to raise more than 126,000 for the children's hospital! It takes truly compassionate, dedicated people to pull that off! Thanks Drive ... you're my new favorite radio station!

I was fortunate enough to tell Taylor's story on this year's Radiothon. Hopefully, we helped to make a difference in a child's life!

Camryn and Lucas in front of their dedication tiles...
The NICU tile wall was unveiled at Eastview Mall today (September 29, 2007). It will be on display for a while before being placed outside the NICU. This incredible fundraiser and tribute to NICU babies raised more than $26,000 for the NICU at Strong!
