Joshua Lee Scruggs
October 23 1987 - March 20 2006 | |
This online memorial was created in loving memory of Joshua Scruggs. Josh past away at the early age of 18 Years, 4 Months, and 28 Days. Josh was diagnosed with chrondoblastic osteosarcoma of the pelvis in Oct. of 2003. His 1st of many biopsy's was the day after his 16th birthday, instead of being out showing off with his new driver's license he was laying in a hospital bed awaiting results that would inevitably change our lives forever. He lost his battle to cancer on Monday, March 20th, 2006 at 10:49 a.m.
It's still really hard to write or even talk about the details of his awful battle against cancer. I will slowly add to this page. I hope to have it full with many cherished memories of Josh. I hope to leave an impression of the wonderful person that he was, the bravery that he shown, the love he unselfishly gave to all who knew him, and how he touched so many lives in his short amount of time on this earth.
We will forever miss our sweet Josh!
Here is a link to Josh's Story. Also there are links to other cancer resources there. I hope someone finds them useful.

FAMILY
Mom and Dad, Lyn and Chris
I wish I could take away your pain
I know how much you miss me
And miss you the same
Grandmas, Uncles, Aunts and cousins too
I miss them all the same
The good times and the bad
The sunshine and the rain
When I got to heaven
A Grandpa on each side
I told them that I missed you all
They said you'd be here when its time
Though earth can not compare to heaven
There's no likeness between the two
Heaven is a perfect place
One day you'll know it to

For Some, For One
For some, was silence
For some, was disbelief
For some, was anger
For some, was grief
For some, time moved on
For some, pain went away
For some, have already forgotten
For some, still may
For one, it lingers
For one, it will stay
For one, will always remember
For one, it’s like yesterday
For one, you was everything
For one, time stands still
For one, you meant the world
For one, you always will
You changed my life the second you were born, now that your gone it will never be the same
