I made you a stepping stone for my garden. When I placed it there, it was a lonely feeling when I looked at it. You were there in the garden all alone. It reminded me of the day when you were laid to rest in the cemetary. I so dreaded leaving you there all by yourself.

I decided to ask the parents of the grief group that I belong to if I could make stones with their angels names on them and place them in the garden with you. Several people listed the names of their children . I have gotten a few of the stones done and want to post their stones here in honor of each and every one of our angels..

Ben, you no longer look lonely, there are other much loved angels there with you.

My dream is that you have met all these wonderful angels up in heaven, and that you all know how much all of us love and miss you so much.

The loss of all these beautiful angels have brought such a wonderful group of people together. No matter what, everyone is always there to listen to whatever needs to be released from the very bottom of our hearts. There inside that group we don't need to be afraid to say that we are sad, that our hearts are still torn in half even if it has been 20 yrs since our child has died. We don't have to wear our fake faces. We can be ourselves and share memories or hurts.

I know somehow each and every angel here on this page has helped guide their parent to the group. You each have shown your mothers the way to a safe haven full of other mothers who will be there to help hold them up when we are feeling so low.

It has been an honor to make each and everyone of you an angel stepping stone. Each was made with love and respect to honor your memory.
