My memories of him will be that he had one of the biggest hearts I've ever seen. He helped us out of more jams than I can recount. He will be sorely missed.

I will never forget you and your love for Star Wars when we were kids. You and your brothers made me laugh so much all the time. Im glad we are friends. Everytime I see Star Wars I still think of you and how you memorized the whole movie line for line. I know we haven't seen each other in 26 years but you are a good friend and my prayers will be with you and your family. Pat Holder

Rocky has touched so many hearts in many ways and he is loved and will be missed by all.  He was a great man and a wonderful father.  He had a very charming personality that everyone was drawn to.  I will always treasure the many years that we spent together and all the wonderful memories that we made together.  We share a wonderful son Anthony Rocco Viracola aka "Tony" which loved his father more than anthing and misses him alot.  I am thinking and praying for everyone that have lost a part great part of their life by losing Rocky.  RIP Rocky We love you and miss you!!

The first thing I think of when I think of Rocky is "enthusiasm." Everything he loved, he loved 110%. When I knew him when we were in high school, I was always struck that someone could ever be so interested in a movie, be so attached to a grandmother, be so protective of a litter or kittens, could daydream so precisely about flying a helicopter, and could rock out so hard to a silly song on the radio. There is much more. Rocky was always a bolt of lightning during some of our dark days as teenagers, and I'm sure he became a constant warm light for his loving family. I learned a lot from him, and wish now that I had known him much better.

Rocky and I were in Algebra 2 together at West Charlotte High School.  He was so funny, we laughed a ton in that class.  I am sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. I recently lost my uncle to Suicide on Feb 1st of this year. Its been such a battle and it seems as if the pain will never ease. May you find joy and comfort in the memories you have of him. God Bless You and Your Family.
